When I arrive in Brazil, I plan on trying to earn some money as an English language teacher. Apparently, because of Brazil's growing global economic involvement, English language education is in high demand and native English speakers can earn a good income instructing students. I plan on obtaining a basic TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) certification so that I can be employed by schools or companies, but also plan on teaching many private clients. Because of my own experience with learning other languages, I have been able to develop a good sense for effective methods and fun ways for people to learn quickly. I plan on helping all of my students become better English speakers by creating a non-judgmental environment for them to learn and practice in, and utilizing American music and movies! Creating the non-judgmental environment is essential and I hope to counter lingual shyness with my own fearless and shameless displays of "gringo" Portuguese. American music, especially Rap, is growing popular in Brazil and I think students will enjoy gaining a better understanding of the lyrics they listen to. As for movies, field trips to the cinema and viewings in class will be great learning tools, since students can listen to spoken English and view the subtitles in Portuguese. I plan on only issuing assignments that students can use as resources, but nothing too demanding because, well, homework sucks!

Personal Fitness Training
For many years now, I have been a student of various types of physical fitness, from sports medicine, traditional weight-lifting and various competition sports, to martial arts and CrossFit-type programs. My experiences with these different forms and aspects of physical fitness have given me a lot of valuable information in regard to things like activity planning, dietary nutrition, and sports related injury prevention/treatment. I hope to utilize all the things that I have learned to help other people develop improved mental, physical, and spiritual health. I am not sure what my situation will be in regard to facilities and equipment, but I will do what I can to help any people who are willing to take advantage of the skills and knowledge I have acquired over the years. Old People, young people, executives, janitors, whoever! If they want to live better lives, I want to help them do it!

Import/ Export and International Business
Brazil has a lot of things the world wants, from exotic wood and liqueurs, to real estate and precious gems. In addition, there are a lot of things in the world that Brazil wants and with a rapidly expanding middle-class, the demand for a variety of foreign goods is increasing. Drawing upon knowledge gained from hands-on experience with international business, decent language skills, determination, and hope, I plan to make an attempt at establishing myself in the Brazilian business community. Currently I am planning to take a shot at importing mid-level to high-end jewelry, and brand name American clothing, which is in high demand in Brazil. If there are any wholesale distributors out there, for any products, who want to expand their business to Brazil, l'm the guy for the job.
